St Catharine's College is offering a taster day for Year 12 (or equivalent) students interested in applying to study History.
The day will include academic sessions with Fellows of the College, the chance to meet current students, a tour of St Catharine's, and a lunch in the College dining hall. There will also be an applications talk by an Admissions Tutor and plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
Due to demand, we are asking teachers to nominate students they think would benefit most from the taster days. If you are a student interested in coming to this event, please ask a teacher at your school to nominate you through our website (link below). If you are a recent school-leaver, or there is any other issue with being nominated by a teacher, please contact Kathryn Singleton at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Teachers can nominate up to four students using the form on our website, and rank them according to academic ability. A short statement in support of each student can be included. For more information on nominating suitable students, please visit our website.
The deadline for nominations for all subjects is Friday 3rd May. The teacher of nominees invited to attend a taster day will hear from us by the middle of May.
If you have any questions about this event, please don't hesitate to drop Kathryn an email at email@example.com
